Marketing Plan

The first step to effective marketing is to have a plan. What are your goals? Let’s determine the best way to achieve them; this includes the style of website, the social media accounts we create, where to place paid ads, and natural sources of traffic to target. Having an efficient marketing plan is vital for an good ROI.

What to expect

  1. First and foremost, we will determine your goals. Are you looking to grow your customer base or sell a specific product?
  2. Next we determine the best course of action to take. Will we drive paid traffic to landing pages, or target natural traffic from Google through powerful content.
  3. The style of website we use depends entirely on the type of traffic we plan to target. Paid traffic will be sent to a landing page that is designed to qualify and capture leads. On the other hand, a website for natural traffic will be a more traditional website that features information about your company (and most importantly, a blog)
  4. What social media will you use, if any? Paid traffic will require a Facebook page. I always suggest every business whether paid or natural have a Facebook page. What about Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, and all the others? Those depend on the type of business you run. A design business can show off on Instagram, a freelancer can join conversations on Twitter, and bloggers can promote articles across all three. Ultimately, it all depends on your goals we set in step one.

What happens next

Now that we have a structured marketing plan, we can begin to move forward. This starts in Stage 2 of my 3 Stage Process. Stage 2 is the design and social account creation stage. Stage 3 is execution on the plan where we build traffic and capture leads.
